Demagnetize

Hello,
The (new) handbag that I've been using for a few days (which I paid for, of course, and still have the receipt) beeps every time I pass through a store security gate. This afternoon, I'm going back to the place where I bought it to try to have it demagnetized, but I've already emptied it, turned its linings inside out, cut the label that was inside, and it still beeps. On Sunday, I'm flying to Canada and I would really like to put it in my luggage without risking being seen as a terrorist by setting off the security gates at boarding, and I doubt that the cashier at the store where I bought it can do anything. Can I "demagnetize" it myself? How?
Thank you if you could help me.

    Hi

The right solution is in your question... go back to the point of sale... If the cashier doesn't know what to do... her management will know!

    See you

No, it’s really my bag that’s beeping. I went back to where I bought it, but it doesn’t beep there and yet they assured me that their gate complies with French standards: so it’s impossible for them to do anything. However, they told me that stores selling food have more sensitive exit gates: so I went to the nearby Super U and my bag didn’t trigger anything. Maybe after turning the pockets inside out, the "thing" that was causing it to beep got ejected? Anyway, I hope so: I have 2 days left to check out the shops around here.
    Thanks to those who responded.

I think it doesn't sound on its own. Go back to where you bought it and test it with them. ....
I hope you're sure it's your bag that's making the noise and not your new blouse :))

You should save your nice new bag for your travels in France and take your old used bag for the plane ...
But if you have a medium in your circle, you can always ask them to do a few passes ...
Personally, I think that mohshadow is right: check your different wigs, extensions, recent prosthetics, and implants!

not at all... I have the same problem, a bag from Zara, they acknowledged it, it has nothing to do with prosthetics or hairpieces... It's a manufacturing defect and often there is nothing we can do.

"manufacturing defect"? Could it be that the clasp is made of plutonium recovered from nuclear reactor waste?
