Gigaset A420 issues

Hello,

I have a GIGASET A420 landline phone that is giving me trouble even though it worked fine before:

1 - When I pick up the handset and answer the line, there is no dial tone.
2 - When someone calls me, there is only one ring (the caller hears multiple rings, but I hear only one). If I pick up, there is nothing—no tone or sound.
3 - If the caller leaves a message, it does not appear.
4 - On the phone screen, it shows continuously INT 1.

Could someone please help me?

    If this phone is connected to a box.. (phone via ADSL) unlike a phone plugged directly into the line, this phenomenon is normal.
    2 - when I receive a call there is only one ring [...]
    ? there are several possibilities for the ringtones of the phone and among others, the means to block ringtones during a time period (do not be disturbed at night for example) or no rings on hidden calls, or you can even block the ringtone completely...
    (see the manual pages 15 and 16).
    But only one? if the phone is via ADSL, wouldn't the call be routed to your provider's voicemail?
    3 - if the person calling leaves a message it does not appear
    The same issue the message is probably recorded at the ISP...
    To avoid the problem you need to set the number of rings before answering machines trigger differently... longer time at the ISP than on your device.
    4 - on the phone screen there is INT 1 continuously
    Apparently this is normal see page 6 of the manual. 
    Very difficult to catch a black cat 😸 in a dark room.
     Especially when it isn't there...
