Hello.
I don't understand why my Phillips microphone, which I bought yesterday for my birthday, isn't working even though all the recording settings (the ones we have access to) seem fine and I have indeed connected the equipment to the correct jack (the one with a small microphone next to it). I really need it for my work and I don't think I'll be able to return it right away.

Have you checked the drivers to start with? Have you tried it on another computer as well?

In fact, the solution was simpler. I had simply forgotten to put a battery inside the microphone. Something I find quite strange because I hadn't needed to use one with the previous mic. But oh well. At least, the issue is fixed.
