Hello :)
My question isn't really related to the main topics of the forums and might be a bit out of the ordinary.
I've been living in Djerba for several years now and I brought back a SilverCrest doorbell that I'm very satisfied with. However, with the intense heat of August, it sometimes suffers from the effects of the sun, the Sahara wind, and its sand.
The doorbell (placed on the front door) doesn't work when you press the button, and the receiver inside the house doesn't ring (although it works perfectly when you press the different buttons to select the desired ringtone).
After consulting the manual that came with it, it stated to reset the receiver. Bingo, it immediately started working again.
This year it did the same thing, but I can’t find the manual anymore, and since I’m not exactly young … I didn’t memorize what to do to reset it.
I just checked the SilverCrest website where they ask for over €68 for the search costs.
For that amount, I might as well buy a new doorbell when I return to Belgium (which isn't happening anytime soon ... :'( )
Could a kind soul come to my rescue :)

Hi! I just found the manual that explains everything!
The procedure is as follows:
1. Remove the batteries from the transmitter and receiver
2. Wait at least 2 minutes
3. Reinsert the batteries
4. Press the "synchronization" button on the receiver (it's the top button of the three on the front)
5. And right after, press the doorbell button.
It worked for me ;)

Unfortunately, I no longer have the manual; it's about a year old and I don’t know how to reset it. K.deg's response doesn’t work; I must not have the same model.
I hope someone has the same one as mine and can help me....
I have the same problem, the batteries are new and it won't connect. Where did you find the manual, please?
