Urmet intercom issue

Hello, I have a 6-unit intercom of the Urmet brand. It's the 2-wire system and I have a big problem. The intercom works but the 6 apartment units don't ring very loudly at all. I don't think it's a wiring issue since we can talk between the street panel and the apartment handsets.

To have a wiring diagram corresponding to your installation, you need the model of the intercom and also to know if it's a telephone or video intercom.
As I mentioned previously, go to the URMET BELGIUM website, click on the icon for diagrams, and depending on the model, check the wiring diagram and compare it with what is in place.
If your intercom works, it may simply be that there is an inversion between the wires or, as our friend M. said, a common wire not connected.

If your entire installation is working correctly but the doorbell is weak, you need to check that the PS terminal of the mic-speaker (located in the street panel) is properly connected to the common of the call buttons (in the case of an installation with electronic stations).

Hello everyone,

I bought my apartment as is, and the intercom doesn't work:
I can't hear the person downstairs. I already replaced the handset with another similar one (also old), it worked for a while, then back to the same issue, in short, I would like to change everything.

According to the link from Électricien 69 on replacements (thanks to him), it seems that my model is a 1030 bell station (I have the bell that rings in my electrical panel, no issues there).

It's an old brown and beige trash can, so that's correct, but I cannot say exactly which model it is; when I disassembled it, I noted this: rif 330/100 E (that's what is written on the dark brown plastic base where the terminal with the wires is).

I also noted this: rif 730/2 (that's what's written on the light brown plastic base that screws onto the dark brown one, and on the light one, the handset rests); so here are the indications I've found.

My problem is finding the wiring diagram for my current model, as I have 5 wires going through the wall cable towards the building's entrance panel. I wouldn't want to "burn out" the panel of my building due to incorrect wiring.

Here is the current wiring:

On my dark brown panel, you can read the following terminals from left to right:

3 – 6 – 11 – 10 – 2 – 8 – 9 – 7 – 1

And here are the wires currently connected:

3 nothing

6 light blue wire going out through the cable

6 – 11 – 10 linked with an original bridge

2 white wire going out through the cable

8 nothing

9 light blue wire going out through the cable

7 yellow wire going out through the cable

1 dark blue wire going out through the cable

- NOTE: The cable is of telephone type consisting of several pairs of intertwined wires:

The light blue wire on 6 and the white wire on 2 are together
The light blue wire on 9 and the yellow wire on 7 are together
The dark blue wire on 1 is alone

- FOR INFO: The handset itself is composed of 3 wires: dark blue; white; red which are normally connected to 3 terminals located above this terminal next to the coil.

It seems obvious to me that the color of the wires matters little, only their positions on the different terminals count.

I went on the website www.urmet-captiv.fr and found nothing.

I went on the link from Ormane (thank you to him) www.urmet.be and found nothing; there are all the diagrams (1128, 1129, 1133...) but no 1030.

Please simply indicate a link or provide me with the wiring diagram for the 1030, and also tell me the model I have.

at this price you will only find products in DIY stores (like Extel and other Asian brands)...

To be safe, choose a brand (a real one) like URMET or AIPHONE.

AIPHONE offers color video kits with hands-free units. The price is around €600 including tax from an electrical wholesaler.

URMET is a bit cheaper as it offers less sophisticated products in B/W or color, around €400 for B/W and €500 for color.

The wiring is the same /

2 wires in SYT 8/10 or more (1mm² or 1.5mm²), no possibility to double up wires in 4/10 or 5/10 (like PTT ivory cable or others) to obtain the section. Valid for a distance of 30M

2 between the interior unit and the exterior unit

2 wires between the indoor monitor and the mains power supply.

2 wires between the outdoor street panel and the latch or motorization.
