Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum and I need your help! Thank you in advance for your responses, I'm counting on you because I'm a novice in this area. I purchased a Pioneer MVH-150 UI car radio that I connected to my motorhome in place of the old one; everything works but when I turn off the ignition, the car radio keeps working! There is no on/off function on the device! There is also no ACC position on the ignition switch. Thanks again for your responses.

Hello jedawa24,
I assume you bought this device new? If so, an installation and operating manual is typically included with the device, and if you had read it, you would have found the section that talks about how to power on the device; here is the excerpt regarding that:
" Powering on the device
1. Press SCR/OFF to power on the device "
" Powering off the device
1. Press and hold SCR/OFF until the device powers off"
If you can’t find that, there’s always a way to download the manual from the manufacturer’s website; it’s very well made and detailed. I just downloaded it myself and in 20 seconds I found these 2 passages regarding powering on/off the device.

Regarding the device not turning off when you cut the ignition, it’s because 2 wires are swapped, typically the red wire and the yellow wire, one is the positive after ignition and the other is the positive that connects directly to a positive source from the battery, but all this is also stated in the manual.
You need to read it before pretending to be a wizard.
I assume this device was connected to the DC via ISO connectors; if you’re not sure what ISO connectors are, here’s a very clear image:
And here’s what it looks like in stores:
This connector is typically the one that corresponds to your pioneer MVH-150UI.
Best regards ;-)

It's not the size that matters, as long as both feet touch the ground ;-)
