Hello,

For a few days now, my car radio won't turn on. I had disconnected it because it was not properly installed and when I tried to reconnect it, it doesn’t turn on as if there’s no power coming to it. I’ve checked the connections, the terminals are well connected and the wires are not exposed.
I went to Norauto and they told me to change the fuse, which I did, but it didn’t change anything. It’s worth noting that the display in the car where the time is shown is also not working; could that be related?
For your information, I have a Clio 2 and a Pioneer car radio that I bought just 6 months ago. It’s not the radio since a friend of mine connected it to his car and it works.
I haven't gone back to Norauto yet, so in the meantime, if anyone has an idea, I’m all ears.
Thank you

Hello.

>>> It's worth noting that the car's clock display isn't working either <<<

Definitely another fuse. In fact, there are 2 fuses for the car radio. One for the constant +12 volts and the other +12 volts after ignition which allows it to start. The latter is probably connected to the dashboard lighting fuse. If you have a multimeter, it will be easier to check these fuses.

See you later . . .

Thank you for your clear response, unfortunately I don't have a multimeter.. I thought I had seen somewhere that it could be related to another fuse, but on the fuse box, I do not see the one corresponding to the dashboard lighting.
