Car radio and memory: yellow and red wires

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with my car radio: it doesn't keep anything in memory... After checking various forums, it seems that the red and yellow wires are reversed.

I removed my car radio and found that on my 2006 Seat Ibiza, none of my wires have that color... They are all half green-half blue (I’m trying to attach photos).

Could someone please tell me which ones to swap? If you have any diagrams, that would be great. Note that my wires are really very short and the connections are not easy to handle at all.

Thanks in advance!

Hi

it's the wiring of the car radio that needs to connect the yellow wire to the red wire and not to the car's wires. If the car radio turns on when you connect it, just connect the yellow wire to the red wire and the memory will work.

Hi letotof, how’s it going?

If I’ve seen correctly in the posted images, these are ISO connectors, however, if Poupoupidoo used the ISO connector for the 2006 Seat Ibiza corresponding to his car radio, this problem shouldn’t arise:

If the yellow and red wires of the ISO connector aren't positioned like the wires from the Seat, then it’s not the correct ISO connector.

Regards and best of luck ;-)
