I downloaded and installed the driver but it didn't work. Thank you.

Go to start
In the search bar
Type: devmgmt.msc and press enter.

See if there are any question marks and which ones?
If so, give the hardware ID number.
Look -->> here <<--

Also, provide the list displayed under audio controllers.

All with an exclamation point.
As for the audio, video, and game controller:
High Definition Audio Peripheral

Update driver
Search for a driver on my computer
Browse
Go to the unzipped driver folder --> v4aud05us17
Folder --> amd64
Select the folder --> vista
Next, etc...
Restart

and put it in your documents.

Right-click on the audio driver --> R148566.exe
Choose --> 7Zip
Choose --> extract to R148566

Go to Device Manager
Right-click on the Serial Port device
Update driver
Search for a driver on my computer
Browse
Go to your documents
Go to the unzipped driver folder --> R148566
Select the folder --> SOLinf
Next, etc...
Restart

For the Simplified communication peripheral, download this driver --> MEI
and save it in your documents.

Right-click on the audio driver --> R148565.exe
Choose --> 7Zip
Choose --> extract to R148565

Go to the device manager
Right-click on the simplified communication device
Update driver
Search for a driver on my computer
Browse
Go to your documents
Go to the unzipped driver folder --> R148565
Select the folder --> HECI
Next, etc...
Restart
