WhatsApp: insufficient storage

Hello,

The messaging app Whatsapp regularly asked me to update. So I followed the instructions it gave me, but during the download of the update, it said insufficient storage even though I had space on my phone's memory that I had just cleared.

I repeated the operation several times but still no updates installed. So I decided to totally uninstall the app and reinstall it.

After 10 MB of downloading out of 15 MB (the green bar is filling up on google play), it still tells me insufficient storage even though I now have 47 MB free on my phone.

What should I do??!

Hello,

I also have this recurring problem. The internal space on my phone is more than enough (>40 MB) for the approximately 15 MB needed for this app.
I also ignored the update.
So, I uninstall and reinstall. The recovery of chat history is possible via the backup on the SD card.
