Hello,
I have an Asus laptop with a 32 GB hard drive that hasn't started since yesterday, stuck on the message: "Using features, 100% completed, do not turn off the computer."
After a full night, I understand that the Windows update didn't find enough space. I would like to reset my PC, but I get the following message: "Reset this PC: Additional free space is needed on the drive where Windows is installed. Free up space and then try again."
I would like to know how to reset my computer considering that I do NOT want to recover my files.
Thank you very much

Hi,
32 Go is not enough to reset Windows, simply because the reset copies all the data.
I think you have to back up the data and go through a complete installation of Windows 10.
Reinstall Windows 10 by formatting the disk:
Follow this tutorial that explains how to install Windows 10: how to install Windows 10.
All the steps are provided from A to Z with advice at the end to secure Windows 10.
The steps are basically:
- Download the Windows 10 installation ISO: https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows10 (other download methods: https://www.malekal.com/telecharger-iso-windows/ ).
- Create the installation media with Media Creation Tool
- Boot from it by modifying the boot sequence and indicate the USB drive or DVD: How to boot the computer from a USB drive
If the drive doesn't work, try recreating it with Rufus: how to download Rufus - see this tutorial for details: how to create a Windows installation USB drive
- Let yourself be guided to install Windows 10.
- Choose custom (not upgrade)
- During the partition phase, select the main partition and format it.
- Follow the Windows installation procedure using the tutorial above.
Once Windows is installed, I advise you to follow this advice to properly configure and use Windows: Advice after reinstalling Windows.
