Hello,
I just changed my battery on the motherboard because the date was incorrect every day, and each time I opened the PC, I got the message "express gate is not installed on your system or the installation is incomplete to get....etc.
I looked online to try to find an answer but I can't see anything. I checked in the BIOS and express gate is indeed enabled.
Does anyone have any idea?
thanks

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 30.0

    Hello

Express Gate is useless, you just need to disable it in the BIOS.
It’s supposed to be a basic OS using a Linux sublayer. It’s pointless really...

    Thank you Flo88

I will deactivate it. But why do I get this message when changing the battery? Maybe it was deactivated and changing the battery reactivated it automatically???
Thank you and have a nice day

      Yes, that's exactly it.
The change of the battery resets the BIOS to default values, whereas Express Gate is activated by default.
Hence its appearance since the battery change.
During the first configuration of your PC, the person who assembled it had disabled it.

    Thank you for your clarifications.
At the next startup, I will go into the BIOS to disable it.
    Thanks again.
