Hello,
For about a week now, I've been facing a rather complex sound and video issue.
When I turn on my PC, it functions normally for about an hour to an hour and a half (the duration varies), after which a series of problems arise.
First of all, I can no longer play YouTube videos (the video plays for one second, then the loading bar goes back to zero, then the video reloads for one second and the message "an error has occurred" appears), and this happens in any browser.
For videos from wat.tv, for example, the video plays correctly but without sound.
Additionally, when I try to play music via Windows Media Player or VLC, these players inform me of a problem during playback.
Finally, movies and videos (other than YouTube) launch correctly but without sound.
After numerous updates to the audio and graphics settings, nothing has been restored.
To this day, the only solution I've found is to log out (thus restarting or putting the system to sleep). The problem is that after 40 minutes, an hour, or an hour and a half, the same issue reoccurs.
I am therefore seeking your help to resolve this complex malfunction.
Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Windows 8 / Firefox 30.0

Hello,
Is it a brand-name computer or a custom-built PC?
Could you provide us with some references?
Windows 8, 32 or 64 bits?
Best regards.

This is an ASUS laptop (I can't find out the model, I can't locate the computer's documentation)
Here is additional information that might be useful to you:
Intel Pentium CPU B980
Windows 8 64-bit.
If you need any other information, feel free to ask.
Thank you.

Sure, one moment please.
You mentioned that you have performed the updates regarding the audio; is this the driver you installed? Audio/Audio_Realtek_Win8_64_Z6016685.zip
See you later.
