Hello everyone,
I come to ask for your help, having tried everything without success.
Here’s my problem: I have an Acer Switch 10 that has been experiencing sound issues for a while now. It’s when I plug in headphones or a speaker via the jack that it becomes noticeable. Indeed, a constant buzzing can be heard.
After attempting an update via Windows that resulted in a total absence of sound (both through the jack and the speakers), I reset the PC (for reasons other than this, but I hoped to resolve this issue at the same time). All problems had then disappeared.
However, after a few days, I noticed the return of these buzzings. Their presence and intensity vary with each restart of the PC. I also noticed that during multimedia playback, some "background" sounds (music, various noises, etc.) were much louder than the "important" elements (lyrics, dialogues).
I checked that enhancements were disabled, updates were done, and the jack was clean, but nothing seems to solve this issue. I thought about a fault with the jack, but the temporary improvement after the reset and the random nature with each restart makes me think more of a software issue.
I hope to find some good souls here who can help me O:)

Thank you, Georges, for these clarifications.
I finally managed to get rid of those crackling sounds, here's how:
After checking the updates suggested for my device by Intel, I realized that some drivers were not up to date. After making the proposed corrections, the crackling noises disappeared... at least for a few hours. Every time, they ended up coming back, and Intel would suggest the driver I had already installed again. I then noticed that Windows was systematically reinstalling a driver that was clearly outdated. So I disabled automatic driver updates by Windows, reinstalled the one suggested by Intel, and I haven't had any problems since.
I hope this can be helpful to others besides me :)

It is more than certain that this will help others. Clearly, it wasn't an electrical problem. Well done for your perseverance and insight (even if you didn’t have a choice, right?)
Thank you for your feedback and best of luck moving forward.
Sincerely.
