Having a new iPhone 5s, I accidentally made the settings icon disappear. I can't get it back!
Could you please tell me what to do? Thank you and best regards.

    you cannot make this icon disappear, it's impossible

    you can still access it via spotlight

    Otherwise, to restore the home screen and thus the settings icon: you need to go to the settings app from spotlight (swipe down from the springboard (where the icons are) and type settings)
    settings-->>general-->>Reset-->>reset home screen

      Hello,

      I have the same problem, except I really can't find the settings icon. When I type in the search bar, it gives me the dictionary definition, access to Safari or Maps.
      Do you have any idea?
