Facebook isn't notifying my birthday.

Hello,

I'm having trouble understanding why Facebook isn't notifying people of my birthday... even though my birthday is set to public and I've updated my information.
Could you help me?

    Hello alabama9125,

    if you look carefully in the Facebook settings, there's a window with notifications.
    You go in there, and inside you'll find the notification settings, including, oh miracle, birthdays.
    You select yes and that's it!!

      It doesn't change anything, I feel like it doesn't show up, I searched for myself with my brother's account and nothing.
