Hello, today I accidentally deleted all my photos/videos/screens from my smartphone.

I am using a Samsung Galaxy S5. I have an external SD card, and my smartphone is rooted according to this link: https://www.nextpit.fr/tutoriel-root-samsung-galaxy-s5

These photos are precious as they were of my brother during a military ceremony.

Thank you.

Good evening
Try using Recuva but I don't know if it will work for mobile phones.

Hello,

Here are the different steps to recover your accidentally deleted photos and videos on your Samsung Galaxy S5:

-------------> PART 1 SOFTWARE <-------------

1 - In Google, type: https://www.piriform.com/
(the site is in English so don’t worry, for those who are hesitant, there are no viruses and it’s FREE)

2: Once on the site, hover your mouse over " FOR HOME " and then click on " RECUVA "

3: You need to click on " DOWNLOAD FREE VERSION "

4: You will be asked which version you want, so you should click on the first one, it's the free version: " FREE DOWNLOAD "

5: A page appears with a red cross showing the word: " NO SUPPORT " and just below there are two green links, you need to click on: " PIRIFORM.COM "

6: Normally, the download should start automatically, or if it doesn’t, you can always click on " START DOWNLOAD "

7: Once the download is finished, check that the " RECUVA " software is properly installed on your PC

8: On your PC, right-click + new + folder, this will allow you to store all the photos and videos

---------------> PART 2 SAMSUNG <---------------

1: Remove the SD card from the phone and insert it into a micro-SD adapter, then plug it into the SD port of your PC

2: To see what a micro-SD adapter looks like, click on the link or copy/paste into the Google address bar:

http://www.fnac.com/...

--------------> PART 3 END <---------------

1: Launch the " RECUVA " software

2: You will be asked: What type of files are you trying to recover?
You should click on: " ALL FILES " and then click on next

3: You will be asked: Where were the files?
You should click on: " IN A SPECIFIC LOCATION " and then on " BROWSE "

4: You need to find your SD card in the list to explore, click on it once and then on OK

5: You should click on " START "

6: You need to select the entire list of results

7: You should click on " RECOVER "

8: A window opens asking you " IN WHICH FOLDER DO YOU WANT TO SAVE ALL THE FILES? "
You should find " NEW FOLDER " in the list, remember we created it earlier on the desktop by right-clicking + new + folder

9: FINISH, hoping to have helped you. Best regards, jéjé
