Hello,
I’ve read the forum but I didn’t find my answer. Here it is: I have several videos from 3 to 5 minutes long, each weighing 600 to 800 MB (after exporting from a montage without compression). I’ve tested several compression programs, including Stoik Video Converter, which gave me the best result, i.e. one video of 15 MB. But that’s not enough; I need these videos to weigh less than 10 MB each.
I know it sounds ridiculous to reduce them so much, but the person I edited these videos for needs to send them by email, and attachments cannot exceed 10 MB.
I hope it’s possible, even though I’m starting to doubt it, and especially if it’s possible with a free software, that would be perfect...
Thanks in advance for your answers.

Hi Alice, I read your message and I think the only solution to convert a video file is to buy the software to get the license: buy the software you use and you’ll see that you’ll get the compression you want.

Thank you for these solutions.
The hosting solution was not suitable for the person I’m making these edits for; they really wanted to be able to send it by email.
I installed ri4m, but he didn’t want to start the re-encoding when I told him I wanted a result under 228MB.
I finally found a very simple solution, after downloading a dozen free converters, it’s simply Windows Movie Maker. You import the video, export it to your hard drive, and tell it what size you want it to be. It works very well. The only drawback is that it only outputs .wmv
Thanks again.-

Thank you for this tip, which works every time!
-> Windows Movie Maker - import - save on dd - choose the compression size - satisfactory result.

yes or then use the ri4m software that you will find at www.ripp-it.com
you can directly specify the size you want to have
