External DVD burner on TV? Is it possible?

Hello,
I wanted to know if it is possible to connect an external DVD player/recorder (computer) to a TV (LCD or plasma) to record a TV program from channels like (TF1, Fr2, Fr3, TNT.........). If yes, by what means?
