Unable to type in the search bar!

Hello,
Here is my problem:
- When I open a page in a new tab, I can't click on it; to access it, I have to close the previous page.
- The search bar is also blocked (only the one with internet addresses), and I can't type anything in it.
- Don't tell me to click on "Tools" because that button is also blocked!
This problem appeared overnight; I don't remember touching anything!
My keyboard works perfectly, and so does my mouse, so I really don't understand.
I have a laptop, so no external mouse, and I use Google Chrome.
If anyone can help me, please!!!!!! I can't take it anymore :'(
To the Firefox enthusiasts who will tell me to install it, please refrain from doing so, just like those who won't offer a direct solution to my problem!
