Barely visible laptop screen

Hello everyone,
I'm not very knowledgeable about computer parts, but I've had a problem for a month with my laptop screen (Samsung notebook). I already had the original screen replaced 5 months ago because it was broken.
Here's what's happening. The laptop screen lights up, but very faintly, about 10% of its capacity. I can barely see what's on it. I can still plug it into the TV without any issue. There's another thing too. For example, when I'm on a webpage on my TV, I can see on my laptop screen that I'm on the computer's desktop. Some windows of the desktop open occasionally while I'm on Facebook, for example (with Windows 8).
Is it the screen that is poorly connected, a virus, or my video card??
Thanks for your help :)

    Hello,

Often, when the screen only displays very faintly, it is a component responsible for backlighting that is at fault: the inverter. This is a part that can be replaced.

    Best regards
