Defragment/optimize an unknown drive

Hello,
I wanted to analyze and optimize my PC when a drive name appeared suspicious:

Drive: \\?\Volume{fa69d952-a355-4dbb-8cf5-86356184c17e}\
Media type: Hard disk drive

Apparently, it needs to be optimized, but when I click on "optimize," nothing happens, nor does "analyze," by the way.

I recognize the OS (C:) drive, but where does this one come from?

Can you help me please!

    Hello.

Press the Windows and R keys
    Type diskmgmt.msc
Then take a screenshot and upload it to this site:

    Good evening,
should I put my document on Cjoint.com as public or private?

It must be a system partition, do not touch it.

Why is this partition displayed in this case? Why does the system indicate the need to optimize?

      Hello

It's just the 29% fragmentation; the program usually says it's a lot.

But since defragmentation is automatic and enabled, either it will defragment itself in the week, or it's a protection, and your program does not have access.

Since system management indicates 100% free on all other partitions except C, it doesn't encourage messing with this partition from your program.

We can also assume that the OS on C doesn't necessarily have access, so it doesn't use the fragmented partition, and there's nothing to gain in normal operation by optimizing it.

We cannot format this partition, as it does not have a letter.

Don't be mistaken, even if that's not the goal here, you can perfectly format a partition even if it doesn't have a letter from the disk manager.

In the rush, I confused defragmentation and formatting; one must
definitely not format a partition if one is not sure what it is used for.

I don't want to format, but to defragment. However, when I click on analyze or optimize, nothing happens.

Honestly, I recommend you not to touch it; if it doesn't have a letter, it's a system partition.

    Good evening,

Unfortunately, I took my computer to a technician due to another issue: a significant slowdown during boot and system navigation, and I forgot to ask... :(

He optimized and cleaned my system, so I think he would have mentioned something about it.

I don't think we need to worry after all.

    Thank you for your responses.

Hello, I also have a drive that appeared by itself and asks to be optimized, but no matter how much I optimize it, nothing changes.
    Its name: \\?\Volume{c75e99ab-9221-4ba2-8e09-1a9b2aa78827}\
Furthermore, since its appearance, my computer takes longer and longer to start up.
I would like to have more information and to know if there is a solution for my PC to function properly again.
Is it a virus? A system bug?

    Thank you for your help.
