Hello,

I am having problems with my computer: it suddenly went into sleep mode while I was using it. When I tried to restart it, the same thing happened after the Windows XP screen appeared in color on a black background.
What is also strange is that at the very beginning, instead of the message “not found any disk,” I see the same thing but with letter errors like “nvt fvund any disk.”

I restarted in safe mode and tried to run a scan with Avira antivirus, but the software wouldn’t open or launch.
I ran Malwarebytes antimalware, but a quick scan didn’t find anything.
In safe mode, the display is not very good (vertical lines). Is this normal or a graphics card problem?

I don’t know what to do... How do I run an antivirus scan in safe mode?

Thank you for your help.

    Thank you
What do you advise me then? Uninstall Avira to install another free antivirus, but my computer only works in safe mode (and last time the mouse didn’t work, which is not very practical at all)
Or should I do a HijackThis scan and post it here?

This link was about a problem with another computer. Are you saying that I need to post a zhpdiag report??

Thank you, but my problem is not the slowdown of my computer, but the inability to start it normally (except in safe mode); after a while, the monitor turns off while the central unit seems to keep working.
In safe mode, I have access to my programs but there are traces on the screen.
