Duplicated contacts in Viber

Hello!
In my Viber app, contacts are displayed in duplicate...
whereas in my phone directory I have simply checked "show device contacts" and unchecked those from the SIM card.
How can I delete these duplicates, please?

    Hi
    you need to go to settings, then accounts, and if you have multiple accounts like Gmail, Outlook, or others, disable contact syncing.

      Amazing... are you sure you have unsynchronized all the contacts from your different accounts and your email inbox...? If not, go to application manager, then scroll through ALL, then scroll down to find your Viber app, then clear the cache and data, and restart...

      Ah no, I just unchecked Viber... there’s only a problem with duplicates in that app, not elsewhere.

      We're going to go around in circles...... do what I tell you...
      In settings, then accounts and sync, go to your Google account and desync your contacts, the same if you have a Samsung account, Outlook, etc..... Then if you added an email box with your email app, do the same........ It would be wise of you to sync your contacts on Gmail rather than on the phone's memory because if you ever reset your phone, you will say goodbye to your contacts, whereas you'll always find them on Gmail....

    Hi

    I had the same issue, and the solution is as follows:

    go to Viber settings>general> and uncheck ''show all contacts''

    There you go!
