Hello,
I want to search for all the symbols "<" and ">" in a Word document!
Knowing that it is a special character already used by Word
I tried Ctrl + F and Ctrl + H with the wildcards considered but without success. Any idea?
Thanks for the help.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 28.0

But...
My question wasn't complete.
In a Word document, I have hundreds of lines:
<XYZ-123> Marc <XYZ-0>
<XYZ-456> Alice <XYZ-1>
....
<XYZ-789> Jean <XYZ-2>
and I want to replace EVERYTHING between an opening angle bracket "<" and a closing angle bracket ">" (inclusive) with a space, for example, by using Word's find/replace tool (Ctrl + H) and performing an advanced search (including wildcards). I do:
Find the text: <*>
and the problem is that Word does not recognize the symbol "<" because it is a special character used by Word. This is only applicable when using the replace tool Ctrl + H
In short, I only want to keep the first names and delete everything else. I hope I have been clear?
Thank you in advance for the help provided.
Thank you.
