How to undo formatting on a WD Elements hard drive?

Hello,
I accidentally started formatting a WD Elements hard drive (with a Lenovo Windows 8 PC). When I got to the confirmation to format my hard drive, I clicked on cancel, but it didn't work; it says I need to continue formatting to use my hard drive!
Is it possible to cancel the formatting and be able to reuse my hard drive?

    Formatting is by definition impossible to undo. However, it will still be fully usable, albeit emptied of all its data ;)
