Hello,
I'm starting up an Acer computer running Windows 8.1. I display the desktop, and after 15 seconds, the screen turns blue with a sad smiley and an error message saying "attempted to read only memory," and the computer restarts. Every time I get to the desktop, it happens again. If anyone can guide me, I thank you in advance.
Configuration: Windows 8 / Firefox 27.0

Bonsoir, merci pour ta réponse. Mais comment l'installer sur l'ordinateur sachant qu'il redémarre au bout de 15 secondes après que le bureau s'affiche ?

Good evening, I have exactly the same problem. This afternoon I updated Windows. (Windows 8 to Windows 8.1) All downloads went smoothly, but after several restarts (updates, data applications, etc.), my computer restarts, I see a Windows logo, then the sad smiley with an error message (on a blue screen) and the computer shuts down to restart. And this operation repeats endlessly. The only thing I can do is turn off the computer manually.
After several restarts I was able to read the following message:
"Your computer has encountered a problem and needs to restart
We are collecting information related to the errors, then we will restart the computer. (0%)
To learn more, you can search for this error online later: ACPI_BIOS_ERROR"
And after a brief second of display, nothing happens. (The information collection does not even take place as the percentage doesn’t have time to move: 0%)
I spent the afternoon looking for any solution, but I didn't find any since I can't access the BIOS, as advised on several forums. I went to the Samsung website but found no solution...
Thank you, Jooks.
