Hello, I would like to change my Proximus subscription because I just got a new smartphone, but I don't know which one to choose and I would like to know if there is a difference between GB and GO and how long 1GB lasts (for Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram..)

Thank you!

    Hello,

    It's the same thing!

    1 Go = 1 GB = 8 Gb (what matters is the uppercase)
    1 Gigaoctet (used in French-speaking countries) = 1 Gigabyte (used in English-speaking countries) = 8 Gigabits (generally used to define the speed of your internet connection, etc.)
    1 byte = 8 bits

    Otherwise, 1 Go (or GB) per month is more than enough to use the internet without downloading large files. Basically, if you go on Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, check your emails, and surf a bit on the internet, it won't be an issue.
    However, if you plan to watch long videos on YouTube, it may obviously not last very long ;)
    But even then, nothing prevents you from using Wi-Fi at home (and thus not consuming from your Proximus plan)
    A little note, Proximus has an app (called "Hello!") that will allow you to monitor your usage. Personally, by limiting myself to Facebook & co + my emails, I do not exceed 400 MB (or 0.4 Go). So I opted for Smart+ 15 as my plan and it seems sufficient.

      Thank you very much. In fact, I thought that the Go was superior to the GB.

    Hello.
    The Go (or GB) which is 1000 Mega-bytes.
    1GB = 1GO
    1 GigaByte is from English, Byte means Octet.

      Even if what you're saying is true, it might confuse him more than anything else, you know :P.
