Hello,
On December 26, 2013, I was surprised to find on my Gmail account that I had supposedly made two purchases of "Chest of Gems (Clash of Clans)" for an amount of 89.99 € each. I immediately wrote to cancel these orders (in French... in English...).
I never received a response, nor were these orders processed. However, my credit card was indeed charged 2 times 89.99 €. I never purchase apps or games using Google Wallet.
I am only subscribed to additional storage space with Google Drive, which charges me 6€ once a year via my registered credit card number.
I reported the incident to my bank, which processed the refund for this fraud that occurred in the United Kingdom and canceled my credit card.
I have just received a notice from Google Wallet suspending my account because it seems that a new attempt was made but could not go through due to the cancellation of my credit card.
Google Wallet, which has never responded to my emails when I reported the incident, doesn't doubt for a moment that this is hacking and now wants to penalize me, which I find quite amusing! Additionally, they are asking me to send a piece of identification to complete the information for this account...!
I think I will modify my Google Wallet account when the time comes with a credit card number to pay for my annual storage expenses on Google. Otherwise, should I just let it go?

Hello..
Probable explanation:
https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-29598381-prelevement-sans-autorisation#5
This kind of mishap doesn't only happen with 'porn' sites..
The infamous site (The 'seller') will probably threaten you, but for a fairly ridiculous amount, the risk is low..
Since your credit card is at risk, it's advisable to change it.. We have some doubts about the security of data by Google Wallet..
Otherwise, have you made any purchases online (excluding G.W) with your credit card in the weeks leading up to these fraudulent withdrawals?
See you!

Good evening and thank you for your response,
I haven't made any online purchases in the 3 weeks leading up to this incident.
So I think, as you say, that it's the Google Wallet database containing my credit card information that has been 'hacked.'
I therefore invite all Google Wallet users to be cautious.
For now, I am not worried anymore since the card used by the hacker no longer exists...
The question I had was just regarding Google Wallet's request for me to return a document justifying my identity to revalidate my account, which I have no desire to do!

Hello,
Here is a part of the message from Google, (at least I hope so!)
Thank you for choosing Google Wallet. We have noticed activity on your account "" that has led us to temporarily suspend this account for security reasons.
To find out how to resolve this issue, please sign in to your Google Wallet account at https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?service=sierra&passive=1209600&osid=1&continue=https://pay.google.com/send/home&followup=https://pay.google.com/send/home
It is this last link that asks me to provide an ID document which worries me a lot as long as Google Wallet hasn't understood that this account has been hacked..
So I am following your advice!
THANK YOU VERY MUCH

Hello (or rather good evening). I logged into my bank account online this afternoon. To my great "surprise," I noticed that my account had been debited three times for an amount of €89.99, almost a month ago (shortly after I registered and added my bank card): on 14/04. This is a significant amount (almost €270) and being a student, the situation is quite critical... What administrative steps should I take to try to get refunded? Should I file a complaint? I hope to get some advice and be "guided" through the few administrative steps (I'm starting my professional life, so it's not my strong suit). Thank you in advance.
Hello Théo..
This amount is characteristic of 'porn' sites, fortune-telling, supposed weight loss diets..
Have you ever made a trial visit for €1 on such a site and provided your card details?
If not, your card information may have been 'stolen' during an online purchase or following a breach of a 'merchant' database.. In this case, there is 'unauthorized fraudulent operation' benefiting from the provisions of L133-18 (CMF):
https://www.legifrance.gouv.fr/codes/id/LEGISCTA000020861595/2014-05-06/
Report to your bank, a complaint cannot be required (Not specified by the Text..).. Then immediate reimbursement.. Change the card as it is compromised..
See you+

Hello Théo,
You need to go to your bank without delay. They have the means to find out where this transaction was made. In my case, it was in the UK.
They will cancel the credit card that was used, and you will be refunded without any problem in a few days if it’s in France and in about a month if it’s from abroad.
The hacking was done through two fake game purchases in my case via GOOGLE WALLET... You should be able to find out which so-called purchases were made in your email inbox.
