Third ultimate solution: you need to buy an analog to USB converter box
This box or USB stick handles the conversion of "analog stream into digital" and you connect the box to the computer via a USB cable. The file is converted to MPEG2, a format easy to burn and compatible with all players, with the possibility of editing using "Studio"

Thank you for your replies, I have chosen the solution that seems easiest for me and I ordered the DAZZLE converter box, it appears to be out of stock in several places except on AMAZON. However, I would like to know if it's mandatory to have the SCART socket or the cords (as it's not a VCR, but a camera).
