Why does Avast! block uTorrent?

It's simple, disable the network module, it's an IDS (not great actually), it monitors packets based on their size, shape, number, direction, and obviously, peer-to-peer doesn't sit well with it.

The slightest network issue, especially in-game, with Avast present, think first about disabling the network module, then check the firewall.

Torrenting is illegal to begin with. And if you get caught, well, it's going to hurt ^^
