Hello,
I am running Windows XP Pro SP3
I am trying to use Pinnacle StudioHD 15, activated and official. Every time I import a HD movie or AVI, a window pops up for the MPEG-4 update. I follow the advice and I end up in an AVID window with no codecs or anything to choose from.
I have asked Pinnacle for help with no response for a week!.....
Thank you for your help, I am desperate.
Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0

Thank you Glandu,
You are right not to give up, but rest assured, there is no question of doing so; however, I am juggling a lot of things at the same time, and I only dive into this problem from time to time, during my free hours.
Especially to be able to organize my family films and not subject others to what I endure at my friends' places when they honor me by showing their films...
I believe that the address you gave me will help me progress.
Thanks again Glandu.

Thank you for your response Glandu,
However, I have gotten active and signed up, but I haven't seen any proposals regarding MPEG-4 anywhere.
Maybe I didn’t look in the right place.
What’s holding me back is that it blocks regardless of the attempt to format the film!, even if it has nothing to do with MPEG-4!.

Thank you for a solution that works.

Hello, I believe it is stated that for AVCHD MPEG4 in particular, you need to register and receive the codes to activate the codecs corresponding to these codes.
Hello, we mustn't give up (or else we won't make any videos). Go to Pinnacle and request the activation keys. They ask you for "the passport," which you can find in "help." The passport is a window with the serial number and the passport, and they will send it to you by email.

Hello, I understand your concern. Go to "help" in Pinnacle with your serial number; it will send you a list of serial numbers, for example for Dolby, H264 MPEG4, Studio Instant Activation, Dream Glow.
I’ll give you the two codes I have; they might work if they are not personal:
For H264: LAFSF-ZAAAA-ADNVA-OPFIM-MNPSI
For MPEG4 CODEC: LAFSC-JAAAA-ADNVB-METWS-DPBNM
Select "help"; enter the activation key and type the groups of numbers into the boxes.
That’s all from me.

Hello Glandu,
Thank you for your advice but I confirm that your codes are indeed personal.
As for the MPEG-4 codes, they are nowhere to be found because the window where they should appear is empty and no matter how many codes I enter, it stays empty.
I am really stuck because Pinnacle remains silent despite my cries for help.
Sorry, and thank you for your advice.
