Hello,

I've already had this problem with a CIC message saying "internet payment in progress..." with your credit card xxxxx and 4 digits on my phone... And last night it happened again....
The credit card is under my husband's name, which is strange...
I received the same thing in June, July, September, and yesterday... but during that time, I reported my credit card lost... I got another one... Despite that, I still received texts like the one above... And I changed to a 4S credit card in my husband's name and I'm the one receiving the texts... And it's always the same digits xxxxxx, 4 similar digits despite the reports and the card changes.... They don't match the last 4 digits of the 4S card at all... I've been monitoring all this since June and I've had no hacking on the card...
I've contacted my bank, which told me to delete the texts and that there is no danger, but I still don't feel at ease... Has anyone else had a problem like mine???
How can I stop these texts that don't concern me at all...
Thanking you in advance, your friend Reine who thanks you in advance...

Good evening
Are you only receiving the SMS, strictly nothing else is happening on the card? If so, then don't worry, the issue is that for certain banks and shopping sites, you are "required" for security reasons to provide a mobile phone number so that you receive a code, and with this code that you enter to complete the transaction, the payment goes through. That is what should be happening to you.
If you are strictly only receiving the SMS and nothing else on your account, there is indeed not much to worry about.
