Horizontally stretched computer screen Solved

Hello hello, I have a problem, my computer screen is stretched horizontally, I haven't zoomed in, and the screen resolution is set to its maximum, does anyone have a solution? Thanks in advance! Jo'

If I changed something, it was certainly unintentional, but I would be surprised.

Hello,  The maximum resolution is not necessarily the best suited for your screen. You need to respect the aspect ratio of the display.

It's recommended, yet I don't understand why, but the taskbar, the start menu, everything is stretched!

Uh... no, that's never recommended!  What is recommended is to set the same resolution as the native resolution of the screen...  Brand and model of the beast?

That's what I would like to do, but the highest screen resolution offered is 1024x768...

So, you just need to update the graphics card driver and then set the aforementioned resolution.  Did you change anything?

Update your video driver and it will be fine.
