Hello,
I just purchased a "Floppy Plus, Iomega" floppy disk drive. Since I don't have the installation disk, could someone please share a tip on how to retrieve this installation software?

Hello,
1) Turn off your PC
2) Connect your IOMEGA drive and turn on the PC
3) Depending on the PC, it may or may not show a window stating that the installation... etc. close this window
4) Go to the device manager, you should see a yellow triangle with the X1DE-USB drive
5) Right-click on it... Update driver
6) Browse my computer for drivers
7) Choose from a list of drivers on my computer
8) Wait a moment for a list of devices to be proposed in the left window manufacturer
9) Select NEC system
10) Right window... NEC USB floppy drive (click on it) then next
11) Reply yes to the warning window
There you go, your drive is installed... you can optionally restart the computer
Valid for W8 as well -
Hello
You only need the driver for that.
Is this drive USB?
But what do you want to do with a floppy disk in this day and age?
You can't find disks for that anymore.

PS. Frequently create a restore point! It solves quite a few problems. -
let's say I have a few floppy disks and not knowing what's on them anymore, I bought this reader this morning to be able to read them simply.
