Hello,
I bought a device (GRABBINO) to digitize my VHS tapes.
Once I put the installation CD in my computer's drive, it makes noise, whirs, and nothing happens!!
I tried the path: ----- computer ------- CD/DVD drive -------- my CD is considered blank
and "ready to be burned" (?).
I'm stuck! I can't use the "GRABBINO" and my lovely VHS recordings will remain as they are!
I have a HP Pavilion dv 9000 (?) with Vista. It requires a "VGA card supporting DirectX 9.0", do I have it
???.
Does anyone have a solution?
Thanks in advance for helping me out.

I had the same problem, you need to open the disk via "Computer"
Double click on "set up"
and repeat for the installation of the 2nd software.

Thank you for your information, it works perfectly.
I also have problems installing this software, I believe it is not compatible with XP because on the grabbino I ordered (yes we scan) it says "certified for Windows Vista" only the site where I ordered indicated "Microsoft Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista SP1"
Has anyone found a solution? Are there drivers for XP??
I have scoured countless forums looking for a solution, and tried uninstalling and reinstalling a number of times the drivers, etc...
The One Touch Grabber and Honestech VHS to DVD 2.5 software open but it's impossible to record anything on my PC (on XP), black screen, no sound, NOTHING!!!
I bought a double male S-video cable since it was not included in the pack, made all the connections but nothing happens!!!
Any solution??!

well, it’s the same for me. It’s impossible to copy and burn my VHS tapes (I have Windows XP, but not Vista)! What to do? The "sellers" would do well to step forward and provide a solution!! I believe they must read our comments, our questions, and... our despair! Right? So, they don’t care about us!!
