Hello; I found my installation CD for my HP Deskjet F 4180 printer

I want to install it on my W10 64b PC, apparently this printer is not

compatible with W10, is that possible??

Thank you for your experience

Best regards

    Hello @lazare540571 StatusMember

Download this driver --> Deskjet F4180
Disconnect the USB cable from the printer to the PC
    Turn on the printer
    Right-click on the driver setup --> HP-Deskjet-F4180-Full-Feature-Driver......
    Troubleshoot compatibility and confirm
    The installation will start
Connect the cable to the PC as soon as you are prompted.

    Hello,

This is a model that is at least fifteen years old and for which HP has not developed any later drivers, not even, at first glance, for Windows 7.

If the operating system does not recognize it (and the scanning would be out of the question anyway), we can always try our luck on more or less dubious third-party sites claiming to have such drivers or with VueScan, but that’s paid and it won’t be cost-effective: the only reliable solution is to buy a new printer, and if you prefer HP, why not, a current equivalent model can be found for under €50.

Thank you for the response; it worked perfectly with W7!

Fortunately, I have 2 PCs that run on W7; it was just to try.

I use W10 more now; I need to change PCs to print, it was

      to avoid any handling!

      Best regards
