Scam on Etsy.com

I am in the same situation. I ordered an outfit on April 6, 2018, and for the past three weeks, the woman named Fanta has not responded to my messages, and her contact information has become untraceable. The site Etsy tells me that this Fanta no longer exists. I had already paid; I used my credit card for an outfit that was over 100 euros. I have all the invoices, and I am looking for how to report this scam site. I am terrified to see that people are dishonest in this way. I advise you to always use your credit card to avoid having your accounts hacked. The Etsy site is a site of thieves.

I'm giving you a foolproof tip here:

I've been selling on Etsy for seven years now.
Know that it's the best platform for scamming a craftsman; I've just fallen victim to this after all these years without any issues and with happy customers.
Order an item that comes from far away, and after receiving it, pretend that it does not match the description. Add a small scratch in a photo, which you will have obviously made, and open a dispute on Etsy with a well-phrased and somewhat syrupy message.
Even better, you can also claim that you didn't receive the package at all.
In any case, Etsy will rule in your favor, even if your exchanges with the seller prove that you yourself degraded your item or that good delivery could be proven, with official documents to back it up.
You will be politely invited, if you only want to, to return your order, and the seller will be obliged to accept despite the degradation of the item.
And that's where it gets interesting; refuse to return the order because the cost of shipping it back is too expensive for you, Etsy will immediately accept your request, and you will get refunded while keeping your item!!!
The seller will see their account drained or their shop suspended.
You will always come out on top and always get refunded.
It's the paradise for deceitful consumers!!!!
Personally, I've chosen my side. No more business on Etsy. I now know what I need to do to truly get rich.

Unfortunately, there are scammers posing as Timberland. I had the same issue, but not through Etsy; it was on a Facebook ad without checking the website address in the bar, which is essential because it was just a cloned site. What I did was warn Timberland and contacted the seller (the scammer) that I had informed Timberland about, and I wasn't going to let them off the hook, and they refunded me. As for Timberland, they told me that for them it was a genuine headache and that despite their request (to Facebook), they were doing nothing, and indeed I saw the ad (paid for by the scammer) everywhere, again and again...
I am a craftsperson and sell on Etsy, and to leave a review you must have made a purchase. You must absolutely tell them that you will leave a terrible review, and they cannot remove it because as a seller I know that a review is a review on Etsy ;) but especially, you need to contact the bank even if you validated your purchase and for them you are in the wrong, and also provide the references of the scammers to Timberland, who will take the necessary steps because scammers have no right to sell in their name... so they are subject to prosecution, and Timberland can do them a lot of harm...

When I personally detected scammers using my photos, my business name, and my descriptions (everything!) I also alerted the French Internet Fraud Repression department where you can file a complaint and leave the address of the site that is selling wrongfully (yes, because I only make unique or almost unique products, so the intention of the scammers was clearly to cash in and not send anything in my name on top of that!!!! on unique and various sites that are only there to sell hot air by siphoning serious sellers who work hard. Unlike them, these sites are based abroad, but they are taken down (even if they spring back up like mushrooms because the government can't do anything against them directly). In short, there are solutions, but you must absolutely not give up by doing everything possible; otherwise, they continue to harm both the customer and the seller... and the selling platform must be alerted too, and if they don't seem to react, saying that you will leave negative reviews and alert everyone (bank and brand, etc.) will compel them to react because for online sellers, nothing is worse than negative reviews. ;)

It's common at Etsy, whenever there's a problem, there's no one to solve it.
Therefore, logically, there are more and more scams, since there is no customer service worth mentioning.

Etsy never responds, they give all the freedom to scammers.

January order on Etsy never received. Indicated as shipped but no tracking information available. Address provided correctly. Several follow-ups made to the seller and Etsy in vain, and no reshipment or refund.
