Phoenix Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG Update

Hello everyone, I'm looking for an update for my BIOS: Phoenix Award Modular v6.00PG as I have an issue with my RAM recognition and my BIOS is dated from 2002. Thank you to anyone who can provide me with a link to download this update.

Hello, you need the exact model of your motherboard; if you don’t know it, download the Speccy program which will provide you with a summary of your hardware. Then you need to go to the manufacturer's website to find the model and see if there is a newer version of the BIOS available. If it’s a PC bought from a retail store, the task will likely be more complicated.

Hello, thank you for responding so quickly. In fact, the motherboard is a Matsonic MS8137C+, I checked on the manufacturer's website, but to no avail.

The link I gave you is that of the BIOS manufacturer. You will only find it at Phoenix and it costs about €40.

It would be wiser for you to buy a more recent motherboard.

I know but I can’t afford it right now... Can't we really find a free update? For me, even an update of at least 2205 would be enough. At worst, I'll just throw it away ^^
