Free Phoenix BIOS Update

Question

Motherboard: Fujitsu XTB71_ Bios version: 1.0L-4C15-000F from 12/13/07   Hello, I feel compelled to update my Phoenix BIOS to have more options (in terms of IDE/AHCP choice) that I don't have in this version.  However, when I go to the Fujitsu or Phoenix website, I realize they charge for the update through a partner!! See: http://biosagentplus.com/?ref=752  They're crazy!!  Recently I did an inspection with TLD and they provided an update for my BIOS, but now that I'm looking for it, I can't find any update for the BIOS... Unless it wasn't on TLD that I did this, but even with Google searches, I can't find anything! I really need to do an update to have more options in the BIOS setup, right??  IF you know where I can find it for FREE, I’m in! Thanks for reading, bye.

Hello,  You're going about it the wrong way, you're getting upset and confused.  The Fujitsu XTB71 reference has never been the reference for a PC! Find the correct reference (or better, the serial number) and go here https://www.fujitsu.com/fr/support/ In just a few clicks, you'll reach a page where you can download for free all the drivers you might need, particularly for flashing the BIOS.  Edit: the latest version should be 1.0s from 11/12/2008   BiosAgent, DriverAgent, and there are a ton like that, they are all semi-swindlers who charge for what they collect for free on the internet.   To err is human, to persist is diabolical.

O.O Am I getting angry? You're teaching me something here.  Thanks for the help, but with a bit of reflection, you would have understood that it's the reference of my motherboard that I put there.  And for the second time: I have already searched for updates for my Amilo Xa 2528 on the site, but they only provide me with links to OS.  ...

Aren't you getting upset? Good. So I'm a bad psychologist and I misjudge what you're going through; after all, that's possible. One last little question, I have an upgrade for the V.0S and not for the V.0L. Further down there is indeed a download for v.0L like mine but it's the same version so I wonder if in the end it will update to Version .0S if I use the V.0S which is the most recent.  (I don't want to fry the motherboard, you see ^^).
