Faulty charger connection on ASUS laptop

Hello,
My computer just turned 1 year old a few days ago. To celebrate, I discovered this problem yesterday (exactly the same): http://www.presence-pc.com/forum/id-2872745/asus-probleme-chargement-batterie.html

The problem only occurs when I move the cable of my computer, so I think it comes either from the cable or from the socket, but not from the motherboard...

Could someone enlighten me?

Thank you.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 22.0

There you go, it's replaced. It cost me €40, and I even got a little dusting for free.
I think I got a good deal; in the area where I went, most shopkeepers were offering €65 to €75 for the repair.

Hi

Apart from trying with another cable/charger, there's not much else to do!

I can now hear some crackling...

I would have willingly done the test but I don't have another cable. I would like to be sure that the problem comes from this cable before buying another one.

Is the crackling coming from the socket? That's not good, it probably means it's sparking oO

To figure it out, it's actually not that simple. Does the "pico" in the center of the motherboard socket have any play? What about the socket itself?

The charger fits very well (as always) into the socket of my PC.
As for the crackling noises, they are occasional; I need to fiddle with it.

I found this: http://forum.hardware.fr/hfr/Hardware/Alimentation/probleme-recharger-batterie-sujet_912356_1.htm
jdelo's response catches my attention...

It's possible that it's that, do you tinker a bit?

Otherwise really no one can lend you a charger to try, even if it means going to the person with your laptop...

An ASUS charger? No, I don't think so.
I'm going to see a repairman later to see if he could fix it and for how much.

If he sells you a charger, try it out and make sure there are no problems before you buy it,
If the seller doesn't want to (bad faith to get you to buy the charger and then fix the laptop because that wasn't the issue..) well, just be careful of the scam!!

However, since the day after the replacement, I have this problem...
