Macbook startup issue question mark folder

Hello,

my MacBook, which is now over 4 years old, is starting to fail:

A few days ago, it wouldn't start and got stuck on the Apple logo and the loading symbol. So I followed some advice online, did several tweaks, and ultimately had to reset from a Time Machine backup.

Once the computer was usable again, I installed Onyx and ran a restoration.

A week later, my computer refuses to turn on again.
But this time, a folder with a question mark appears.
I’m repeating the troubleshooting steps at restart, but nothing works:

- Command / S: the installation CD is ejected and nothing happens
- Command / C: nothing happens
- Command / D: the hardware test tells me that everything is fine

HELP!!!

Hello, I had the same problem, a question mark in a folder that showed up when I turned on my Mac. No worries, it's not ruined!!
    Here's the process:
    - Turn off your Mac by holding down the power button
    - Turn your Mac back on with a single press of the power button
    - Hold down the ALT key until a login prompt appears
    - Enter your Wifi password and wait for 10 minutes
    - After 10 minutes, a window will pop up offering to reinstall OS X, Disk Utility, etc...
    - Choose DISK UTILITY
    - Select Your disk and click on SOS then REPAIR
    - If it says everything is fine, INSTALL OS X from the initial window
    - Wait 2-3 hours
    - And that's it!

If your repair indicates a problem with your hard drive, call Apple Technical Support.
    Have a good day!

      Good evening,

I have the same problem; however, following your recommendations, the screen is "shaking" as if the password were incorrect, but I tried it on my phone to verify that I have the correct password, and it works there. Then I used my iPhone to create a hotspot to be absolutely sure about the password. The same observation persists: it shakes, and I remain on the login page with the part to the right of the lock to fill in with the password empty.

      Sincerely

      Hello

If the screen shakes when you enter your password, it means it is the wrong password: maybe your keyboard has, for some unknown reason, switched from AZERTY to QWERTY.
Imagine then what your password becomes on each of these keyboards and type it.
