I have notifications but no sound. What should I do? Solved

Hello,

I am currently on Android with my Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 and I have a rather annoying problem for a little while now: my phone rings at completely random times (whether in use or not, locked or not), it makes a sound somewhat like that of SMS or to signal a notification for example. However, this sound appears randomly (at least I haven't been able to link it to a specific event) and since nothing special is displayed on the screen at that moment, it's impossible to know its source. I would say it's probably an app but I can't confirm it...
The sound occurs about twice a day.

Do you have any idea?

So, all you need to do is go to settings > accessibility > and disable "Notification Reminder" and you're done!

It's really very annoying. How can you manage notifications on the Galaxy S4? I have disabled all app notifications except for the very well-known ones (Facebook, Gmail) that I'm sure of their settings. But no, nothing works; they still come through randomly, and it's truly unbearable! But I can't find any solution. If only there were an app to know the notification impact of each app, that would be perfect, but I don't think such a thing exists...

It's just ad notifications from an app that you've installed....  You can see this notification in your notification center (by sliding your screen down)

I have the same issue with the Samsung Galaxy S5. I've already tried all the solutions mentioned in this post: resetting, disabling notifications for all apps, installing an antivirus, Clean Master, and even a popup blocker.
The problem is that it happens even when I’m offline. When my phone is on silent, it vibrates! I have absolutely no notifications!!!
However, sometimes it can happen all day every 10 minutes, sometimes every half hour, and sometimes only 2 times a day, so I really don’t know what to do or where it’s coming from!

Hello, I was getting beeps every 10 minutes and while reading various posts, I found the solution.
You go to the TASK manager, then to Downloaded and there you have all the apps you have installed.
1) Uninstall everything you don’t use.
If the problem hasn't disappeared,
2) Click on an app and at the beginning you will see a checkbox for Show notification. Uncheck it. And see if the problem is resolved.
If not, move on to the next app.
Once you find the one causing the problem, you can re-enable the other notifications if you want.

I have had a Galaxy S5 for a year and for a few weeks I was receiving irregular notifications (same notifications as SMS) and even in silent mode, it vibrated day and night. Indeed, I had installed francetvinfo and suspected it was the cause. Since I wanted to receive notifications from this app (specific sound) but not notification reminders (same sound as my SMS), I didn't want to deactivate the app.
Thanks for the tip, I disabled setting > accessibility > View > disabled "NOTIFICATION REMINDER" and it stopped!
I am notified but no more annoying reminders!

You need to disable the NFC option. Through the quick settings, because if there are cards, the phone will consider them as chips to scan and will make a noise like Star Wars robots.
