Division generals are now busy with crazy things online, right?
LOL!!
It's no wonder Africans can't solve their problems if their armies are focused on that!!

Honestly, how can anyone believe such nonsense!!

Hello..

Classic nonsense as indicated by my honorable colleagues and as suspected by your humble self....

Cut off all possible contact channels with the scammer. (Blackout..)
Absolute radio silence..
Of course, give NOTHING!..

We can see that the little scammer has brought out the heavy artillery in the lively person of a phantasmagorical French Division General as suggested by a # in 07.. !! It's worth reporting the facts to a Cybercrime Investigator who could probably trace the #..

A bamboo hit? Is it hotter than usual in Ivorian Cybercafés?? Did the neuron short-circuit? Surfusion?

By the way, do you have any Social Networks recklessly open to all winds showing your identity??

A+

Good evening,
I have sent all my file (emails, photos, and videos sent by these ***) to an association that defends victims of this kind of scam:

https://www.avenfrance.org/

Thank you all!

No problem, I've been attacked for the third time under more or less equivalent circumstances.
The best defense, perhaps, is to go online to gather information and either to play dead by notifying your lawyer, if you have one, or to send the attacker a copy-paste of the written exchanges and state that the whole thing is being forwarded to the authorities.
Regarding our brave General, it is evidently an identity theft, especially since:
1° by doing so, he is violating the code of criminal procedure and he indicates a mobile number, whereas he is no longer part of the Gendarmerie, in my opinion.
2° official email addresses are never "@orange.fr," but "@......gouv.fr"
It's true that it's stressful, but in the face of any form of blackmail, there is fundamentally only one response: bring it on!

Hello

The lawyer or the 'Public Force' will be unable to take any action against a thug safely tucked away in an exotic country under jurisdiction... However, the lawyer won't forget to ask for a 'retainer' for his expenses...

If the petty crook is quietly working in Ivory Coast, file a report here:

http://cybercrime.interieur.gouv.ci/

See you!

Response from avenfrance.org when they became aware of my case:

Hello,

You are indeed a victim of the new scam that is currently very popular.

You did not speak to a woman but to a man who showed you a "hot" video to lead you to do this and then blackmail you.

These scammers are called "brouteurs" and are generally based in Ivory Coast.

Do not pay! It would be an endless spiral.

The only thing they are interested in is your money, and they put pressure on you to make you crack.

You must absolutely go silent and not respond to any messages or calls.

Deactivate your Facebook account if you have one.

Delete the scammer's contact from your MSN network.

The videos are distributed on YouTube or Dailymotion. If your video has already been released, you can report it, if you have a YouTube account, or send us the link.

Because in light of the constantly increasing number of publications (about 100 per day), we can no longer manage these distributions as we did in the past.

Hello. My story is exactly the same. I received the same email with the same names and phone numbers. And it was this same Nabine who contacted me. Can you tell me where your story stands and what you did to resolve it? Thank you very much.

Hello,
I have the exact same problem since 11/28/2014.
It's time to stop all these scammers.
However, your comments on this site reassure me. These issues come to me from Morocco, not Ivory Coast, but with the same addresses, 'G. Michaux,...)
In any case, there will never be a second time,... one similar joke is enough for me.

Good evening,

It would be simpler if some stopped playing with themselves in front of a stranger; the world is not a land of teddy bears, but a swamp full of crocodiles.

True enough, I approve of your answer. The proof is there....
it was the first time, but I'm sure there will never be any others.
