Hello,
Like all of you, I'm suffering from the printer manufacturers' scam, who block printing even in B&W when they detect one of the cartridges as empty. Knowing that these ink sensors operate on a print iteration, and not on a real ink level; the cartridges are never empty when they say they are, they just want to sell more very expensive cartridges!!!
Anyway, I would like to trick these sensors so I can continue to print in black (I only print in black) even when my color cartridges are considered empty by the printer.
There are tutorials online for many models, but not for the Epson Expression Home (I have the XP-405)
Can anyone help me
Thank you for your help, let's stand together against these crooks

Hello,
I have an XP-302 and I use refillable cartridges. Each refill costs me a maximum of €0.5 considering the capacity (5.5ml usable) of the cartridges.
No waste. Possibility to transform them into cleaning cartridges.
To my knowledge, there is no way to trick the printer.
Does anyone else have an idea?
Best regards to all.
save money with refillable cartridges and cheap ink kits, priceminister.com, genuine refillable cartridges

Thank you for this answer! Where do you find these rechargeable cartridges? Is there a particular model to look for in stores? Thank you.

To my knowledge, there is no particular model. All compatible 18XL rechargeable cartridges with the EPSON "Daisy" series come from the same Chinese factory.
They can be found on ebay and on priceminister.com. I myself have sold several dozen sets on priceminister....
Search keywords: "rechargeable cartridges 18 18XL 18 XL"
I don't talk about it too much, especially since I have nothing in stock. Plus, I would be accused of taking advantage of this site to promote myself. Let's face it, that wouldn’t be entirely untrue !!!!
At the same time, if you look at all my contributions, you will see that I don't often advertise myself either :-) . And then why not share this excellent product that is rechargeable cartridges with others?
The debate is on!?!?!?!!
Best regards to all, participants and visitors. -
