Hello,
I have a Maxtor Shared Storage Plus NAS with an Ethernet interface.
The problem is that in the web tools, I have no information about the capacity of my drive... not even the size of the free space!!!
I can create shared folders, it would be great to also have info folder by folder (the occupied size).
Anyway, apart from selecting the folders, right-clicking, properties, and waiting 3 hours for Windows to calculate thousands of files, or mapping a folder and doing a DIR on it.
At one time, before I changed my PC and adopted a non-Windows theme (patched uxtheme.dll), I had Windows Explorer displaying charts with the percentage of free and occupied disk space... it worked at the root of drives but also for the NAS on the network... unfortunately, I can’t activate this display now.
I am using XP SP2.
If only I could also know the size of a folder and its subfolders via the command line... with the DIR /? command I can't find anything that would allow for that.
Thank you
