Can you run a Minecraft server on a NAS? Solved

Hello, I would like to create a Minecraft server. I heard about NAS servers and was wondering if they could support a Minecraft server. If yes, which NAS should I choose (please provide links)? Thank you in advance for your responses.

It's impossible: a NAS is a standalone file server and allows data storage on a network. It's just a simple hard drive: there are no processors or RAM inside! (impossible to run a program then...)  -- “It's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum... and I'm all outta gum.” -Duke Nukem-
