Good evening,
I am having a problem with a computer and not knowing much about it, I turn to your hospitality.
When I launch Google Chrome, I normally arrive at the Google search homepage, but after three or four seconds it disappears and the page is then completely white, without me having touched anything. Similarly, if I open a new tab and type in the address bar www.google.fr, the page is blank. However, I can go to other sites without any problem, including other search engines. How is it that only Google returns a blank page, and how can I fix this, please?
Thank you in advance for the attention you will give to my problem.
Sincerely,
Alexis
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 27.0.1453.116

Close Google Chrome
Use the keyboard shortcut Windows + R
Enter the path to the appropriate directory in the address bar:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data\
Click OK
In the directory window that opens, locate the folder named "Default" and rename it to "Backup default".
Close the windows.
Then open Google Chrome.
A new folder named "Default" is automatically created upon opening the browser.
To recover your bookmarks:
Copy the file "Bookmarks.bak" from the "Backup default" folder and paste it into the new "Default" folder.
Once the file is moved, rename it to "Bookmarks" to complete the transfer.
Recover your Favicons and passwords:
In the backup default folder, you have the files Favicons and Login Data.
Also place them in the new Default folder.
