Lulu, I have eMule Plus v1.2 with high ID and a connection speed of 294.8 kbits/s. However, I have a problem: the download is too slow. To download a movie, I wait a week, and my speed lately is between 4 kB/s and 20 kB/s. Help me please!!! How to accelerate my eMule?
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello, even though this forum does not advocate illegal file downloading, I would recommend switching to Bittorrent clients rather than the download client eMule.
As for me, I've tried almost all of them (from LimeWire to Azureus, including eMule) and I would suggest BITCOMET, which is very easy to use and has an average speed of 25 to 30 kbit/s or even more, of course...

Give it a try and you won't be able to live without it...!
If you like it, I could give you the sites, clients, trackers (very numerous for finding files, music, and movies...).
Otherwise, for eMule, I'm sorry, I don't know anything.
See you!

Bye bye.

Hello,
I have Emule Plus 1.2b, but I find it's not fast enough. Is there a way to speed it up? Or is there another faster software? Thank you in advance.

To unlock the number of available TCP connections for your Windows XP,
you just need to:
edit the registry using the regedit command,
navigate to the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters,
add a DWord value called TcpNumConnections,
finally, right-click on the created value and assign it
a Hexadecimal value corresponding to the desired number of simultaneous connections.
For your information, you can convert your numbers using the Windows calculator (calc.exe) in Scientific mode.
Moreover, for experienced users of Edonkey and Emule,
be aware that their official site recommends a hexadecimal value of fffffe,
which corresponds to 16,777,214 connections.
Update
After verification, it turns out that this restriction has been hardcoded into the system file tcpip.sys.
This means that the developers of SP2 do not use a
parameter to specify this value, but that it has been forced into the code before compilation and cannot be overridden.
For those who would still like to go beyond this limitation, it is possible to modify
this library by downloading the patch available on this site.
However, it is important to know that this patch should be applied with caution. Indeed, it will modify a system file essential for Windows XP as it involves the management of the Tcp/IP stack.

Thank you, see you soon

I downloaded emul but I hardly have any servers and when I try to add some it doesn't work, so if someone could help me!!!!!! thank you!!:)
Firstly, thank you Max for responding so quickly and congratulations once again to the person who gently insults those online who have gaps with their PC. I also replied to him regarding eMule + faster, I have no more problems, I deleted it and switched to LimeWire, but worse, for the third time, virus attacks... My Livebox advises on the eMule "help" program to configure the modem we have: me: Livebox in LAN server configuration, TCP AND UDP HAVE TO BE CONFIGURED I believe with 65540 for inputs and outputs. I don't know if you can help me set eMule back up because it is slow but more secure against virus attacks. By the way, I have Avast Family, I don't know what else to say, I'm lost, not very good with computers, and not young enough to learn and do training, so it's great when we manage to have people like you. Thanks again, and if you can resolve the eMule problem + faster that would be great, otherwise, I'll simply reprogram it, okay? Thanks, see you later, nana07.
Hi MAX, all is well with me. I'm still struggling with eMule and haven't received a response to my message from January 26th. Maybe it's a bit early, but I'm desperate. The livebox configuration might have been poorly explained or... I've missed your response. I'm really good at messing things up with the computer, but due to health issues, I'm always "stuck" in front of it and still hope for a quick answer to my questions. Otherwise, there's no point. Maybe I’ll read you on "eMule acceleration." I only download old "hits or movies." I'm pretty retro, but if it's new, I buy it, like C. Williams, C. Badi, Bénabar, etc. Well, see you later, nana07.
I have a very simple solution for you all. I've been on eMule for a very, very long time and I have all the versions one on top of the other, and my latest is eMule Plus 1.2c. To be honest, it's simple: you just need to use any version below eMule Plus 1.2c, for example eMule 0.48, and adjust the high ID settings, meaning your firewall, antivirus (like Avast or whatever you prefer), and the settings on your router (TCP 4662, UDP 4672). You will also need your IP (cmd ipconfig) which will give you your IP (192.168.0.1, 0.2, or 0.3, or whatever is provided in your IP). Once properly set up, it will make it easier for the others to be installed on top without touching anything like I did up to the latest versions, and even beyond if there are still newer versions than eMule Plus 1.2c. If you didn't quite understand, just let me know and I'll explain again, no problem. I'm a pro at eMule, friends, so see you soon for a new version, okay? So don't change anything, just do as I did, one on top of the other, and you won't have any more problems...
lol you're totally right lol!!!! I admit I hadn't thought about it much earlier, it's really all silly your thing, I did it and it works great, I'm so happy now I'm going really high, your trick is seriously simple as you say so well, your nickname "samurai emule" suits you very well: you're a good one!!! There's nothing to say again a thousand times thank you, I'm finally happy to have followed your advice lol
In your router, you need to enter your IP. To find it, type ipconfig in Run, or you can find it in your Free or Neuf subscription, wherever you want. Then set TCP to 4662 and UDP to 4672. Next, disable your antivirus knowing that eMule and eDonkey are checked. Click finish and apply in the last firewall in the control panel, making sure eMule is checked and disable the firewall.
Close everything.
After that, in eMule, go to connection, set TCP to 4662, UDP to 4672, reception to 1000, and emission to 800. Check both reception and emission and set it to max. Then limit high to 1000 and max limit to 1000, making sure Kad and eD2k are checked.
Restart everything and you should be on high ID. *
But for a better explanation, I need to know which antivirus you have, and of course, you'll need eMule 0.48 to configure it. Also, even when downloading other more recent versions, nothing changes; it automatically sets itself as you configured it, even after formatting.

I already left a message, but maybe this one will reach you better. Anyway,
I am using eMule Plus v1.2c and I'm downloading at quite low speeds between 5kb and 15kb. I read your precision for the inventel, but I have a Sagem Livebox, and if possible, I would really like to have something detailed because, in my opinion, you are surely much more knowledgeable than I am in computing. Thank you, you will make one more happy. See you later.

Hello everyone, to know well, you need to know what you are connected to, whether it's Free or LNeuf... Otherwise, to tell you how to set up TCP and UDP, you need to log into your subscription. For example, for Freebox, you type "Freebox" on Google, and then the Free site opens. Go to router configuration, click on (click here), it leads you to a password and your username that you should have received when opening your line. Your username is your landline number and not 09 but 02 or 03 85 00 00 00. Then it opens another page and you go to router settings, and there you will be on the page where you can set TCP, UDP, IP, etc. Here’s a good trick for all my friends, a gift to you all! Try it, and you will thank me one day.

It’s simple, you just have to choose and click for it to explain you.

Hi Samurai,
I stumbled upon this forum because I have the emule plus v1.2e version.
I am experiencing slow downloads (the mule has blindfolded eyes).
I would like to know how to download faster.
Thank you in advance.

For your information, several people have given answers that do not concern Emule because the ways to configure it are already described in this forum (use the search function if it’s not too complicated for you), so I took the liberty of giving him an alternative that allows for much faster downloads.
PS: If you insult, do it properly "But what a bunch of a**holes" wouldn’t it be better written "But WHAT a bunch of a**holes" (who is the a**hole in this story?)
For those who can understand
Cheers
I’m afraid I don’t quite understand what you’re asking. You seem to be using a downloading software (maybe eMule), and it’s not downloading very fast. When you talk about configuring your live box, do you mean that you’ve freed the ports (port forwarding)? Lastly, try to clarify the problem so I can give you a clearer response.
