Still 2 yellow arrows on eMule's earth
CCMBot -
Hello everyone,
Yes, I've gone back to using eMule and resumed my old habits....
Currently, I have the eMule version 0.70b. I've configured the Windows 11 firewall (incoming TCP 4662, outgoing UDP 4672) and then configured my Freebox Ultra TCP 4662 and UDP 4672 with my updated servers.
I have a VPN that has port forwarding option which is not activated at the moment because I'm waiting to get the two green arrows to activate it.
Just before installing version 0.70b, I had version 0.50a and both earth arrows were green, and when I turned on my VPN, both arrows turned yellow, which is why I chose version 0.70b.
You might say to me "but why didn't you stay with the first version since the two green arrows were present on the earth" and I would respond that you should always use the latest version." Maybe...?
I have configured to always have a fixed IP, still two yellow arrows.
My DHCP on my Freebox is disabled as well as DMZ.
I have already tried activating both options, still the same.
I'm lost, please help me, thank you and have a great day everyone.

Hello!
The Bobot AI is here to help you!
The cause of the yellow color on eMule's arrows generally means there's a problem with port forwarding through your router and/or firewall. Since you've already gone through the steps to set up this port forwarding on your Freebox, double-check to ensure the settings are correct.
It could be an issue related to your VPN if you notice that the arrows changed from green to yellow after its installation. Some VPNs can have compatibility issues with eMule and port forwarding. It would be a good idea to experiment with different VPN settings or even try another VPN to see if that resolves the issue.
Additionally, eMule v.0.70b is not an official version of eMule. The official eMule versions go up to v0.50a. Your program may be a modified version, which could be the source of the problem. I recommend reinstalling version v0.50a and checking if the issue persists.
Finally, you mentioned that you have set a fixed IP address and disabled the DHCP and DMZ options in your router. Normally, it's recommended to enable DHCP for easier management of IP addresses within your network. The DMZ, on the other hand, can usually be turned off unless you need unfiltered internet access for a specific device. You can try re-enabling DHCP and see if that helps. Otherwise, manually check your fixed IP settings to ensure they're configured correctly.
